Interiør A/S is an interior design and furniture store that creates total interior design projects for both private and commercial customers. At Interiør A/S you will find a wide range of furniture, lighting, and applied art of the best quality from the leading suppliers in Denmark as well as abroad. At Interiør A/S, we only carry products of the best quality, so that our customers have no doubts about what they are investing in.

We have more than 30 years of experience in the furniture and interior industry and over the years have put together and built a really exciting store, which is definitely worth an experience. The range on this page reflects our store, but we do not show the full range of furniture and lamps, so if there is something you cannot find on the page, please contact us and we will find a solution. We deal with, among others, Fritz Hansen, Montana, Carl Hansen & Søn, Erik Jørgensen, Fredericia Furniture, Vitra, Louis Poulsen, Vipp, Georg Jensen, etc.

Quality furniture in Kragelund for 3 generations
In February 1965, Møbelsnedker Henry and Gudrun Jessen Kragelund opened a 250 m2 furniture store. In 1966 Kragelund Møbelforretning changed its name to HJ Møbler, the style changed to Danish design in light woods and in 1970 the store was expanded by 500 m2. A few years later, a new warehouse was added, so that the total area was up to 1,000 m2 - as it is today.

In October 1994, Henry Jessen chose to sell the shop to interior designer MDD Pia Mortensen and furniture dealer Erland Abrahamsen. HJ Møbler was modernized and changed its name to Interiør A/S, and the idea was to create an interior design shop where both private and business customers could have drawings made and thereby get the best help with furniture purchases. The products in the store were a mixture of modern foreign furniture, classic Danish furniture, lighting, carpets, and applied art. Interiør A/S was one of the first in Denmark to create special furniture exhibitions with different themes. The annual event in the month of October became a run-in - and a tradition that is still maintained.

After 20 years of success and a large customer group, Janus Mortensen Interiør A/S took over on 1 January 2015. The store is being renewed once again and the range of applied art and lifestyle products has grown. The launch of the webshop www.interiorshop.dk takes place in October 2015 and sends Interiør A/S into the age of digitalization.
