WHAT IS DACRYL®?
Transparent: as transparent as crystal (92% light transmission).
Resistant: 10 times stronger than glass.
Light: 2 times lighter than glass (density = 1.19).
Temperature: maintains its physical characteristics from – 40°C to +100°C.
Recyclability: 100% recyclable
UV resistance: very good outdoor resistance, practically no yellowing
(-3% over 10 years).
Light: excellent conductor of light, like certain optical fibers.
Phonics: good phonic characteristics mainly in low frequencies (rolling noise).
Fire :non-toxic, non-dripping and meets the 650°C incandescent wire standard, classification F (fumes).
ERP: usable as ERP, as a decorative element or lighting fixture, if the surface area is less than 25% of the wall surface area.
Toxicity: no toxic migration (used in the medical and food fields).
HOW DOES DACRYL® PRESENT?
Dacryl® comes in flat sheets.
3 plate formats: 2000 x 1250 mm, 2500 × 1000 mm, 3000 × 1200 mm.
Thicknesses: generally 10 to 20 mm.
Thickness tolerance: generally + or – 15%.
Cutting tolerance: generally + or – 1 mm per linear meter.
Linear expansion: 0.063mm per degree per linear meter.
Shaping: worked like wood, cut, drilled, tapped, milled, turned, folded, shaped, sanded and polished.
Tools: classic tools from a carpentry workshop, special machines such as laser, water jet or numerical control.
Decor :can be screen printed, painted, accepts adhesives.
