Vogue Fyrir Heimilið

The company Vogue for the home is built on an old and solid foundation, since it should be attributed to five long-established companies, all of which were well-known in their respective fields. This diverse base of the company ensures that a great deal of knowledge and experience is brought together by Vogue's exclusive staff for the home.

The companies in question are the textile store Vogue hf. founded in 1951, sponge and mattress manufacturers Pétur Snæland hf. founded in 1949, Lystadún hf. founded in 1956, the chemical and clothing wholesaler S. Ármann Magnússon ehf. founded in 1953 and Marco ehf. founded in 1987 which was a pioneer in Iceland in importing American beds and furniture. The merger of these companies began in 1991 with the merger of Pétur Snæland and Lystadún. Then Marco joined the group in 2001, Vogue in 2002, and finally S. Ármann Magnússon in 2010.

The operation can be divided into commercial operation, wholesale, and production. Examples of the company's products include health mattresses of many types, bed bases, headboards, row sofas, sofa beds, curtains of all types, sponge toys, etc. In addition, we tailor sponges for furniture manufacturers and upholsterers, especially manufacture mattresses for ships and boats, summer houses and caravans, etc.

Today, Vogue for the Home operates 2 stores, namely at Síðumúla 30 in Reykjavík and Hofsbót 4 in Akureyri.

Examples of customers are, for example, hospitals, health institutions, hotels and guesthouses, shipping companies, schools, kindergartens, furniture upholsterers as well as general customers.
